Nine of our women took part in the largest Women only Head Race on Saturday - the Women's Eights Head of the River.  It was founded in 1930 as a multi crew event after a couple of years of side by side racing.  It's a 4.25mile course on The Tideway from Chiswick to Putney and this year 306 crews completed the course. 
Thanks to Putney High School for lending us a boat and to Emily for coxing and Steve for rigging.  The crew was Ursula, Yasmin, Chloe, Charlene, Claudia, Esther, Clare and Linda.  Yasmin and Chloe both represent Sussex Uni as part of Ardingly RC.
