SQUADS

Our membership is split into different squads and groups, tailored for different abilities and aims; from racing Masters to our highly-valued Friends.

MASTERS RACING

Our strong and committed Masters group range in background, with members who learnt to row at Ardingly and those who have returned to the sport after long breaks.

The group competes in local head races and regattas, aims to win at the main British Masters events as well as competing at international championships.

JUNIORS

Our thriving Junior section offers training from the age of 13 onwards, with no previous experience necessary. Safety is of paramount importance - all taking part must be able to swim 100 metres, and training is carried out with DBS-checked coaches and safety launches.

Several of our alumni have competed at Henley Royal Regatta and represented their country in the sport.

DEVELOPMENT AND RECREATIONAL

This group is for people who love the sport of rowing but have either not yet progressed to racing level or are happy to just row and scull on our beautiful reservoir.

This is a mixed group of all ages and is coached by volunteers from the safety launches.

SENIORS AND STUDENTS

Our club has previously been represented at both Henley Women's Regatta and Henley Royal Regatta, and we host a number of rowers at the senior competition level, particularly during the summer.

We also very happily host Sussex University's rowers. Their club website here.
