Fastest Ardingly crew was our Open 4x+ who had entered Masters C but agreed to race Open for the love of racing when their Masters oppo withdrew. Well done Gunter, James, Neil and Matt coxed by Esther. Three wins : Mixed Masters C/D 2x of Brian with Heather (SuA); Open Masters D/F 4+ of Steve, Pete, Mick, Jon C coxed by Esther; and Open Mas D/E 2- of Mick and Jon C (beating the D - younger crews - without needing the handicap).

Our J16 scullers - women and men - pushed each other on, both our students came second in the Open 1x (men and women) category - Yasmin by just 6seconds to a woman on the GB pathway.  It was Esther's first race in a 1x, James and Henry's first races for Ardingly, Gunter's first race with us for a decade.  It was a great day out cold but sunny as you can see in the photos. Everyone helped and supported each other and pushed each other onwards.  Thanks in particular to Mick for towing, and to Jo S who wasn't racing but came to be Queen of ARC for the day and keep everyone on track.
